For those aspiring to be a tour guide or with a deep passion for wildlife, we offer a unique opportunity to join our wildlife team in the heart of Tanzania.

Our Safari Company “Making Memories in Africa” is eager to welcome you and ensure that your time and experience in Tanzania are truly unforgettable.

What are your task?

• You will assist the CEO of Making Memories in Africa in email communication, planning trips and up coming safaris, brief our guest for their trip, organize accommodation bookings and safari equipment 
• Getting private lessons from our Tour guides, to acquire knowledge before the trip
• On the Safari Trips you will be the right hand of our guide and chef, you will help them to prepare the Jeeps, tents and meals
• You will photograph and make notes during the trip
• And of course if you want to share your knowledge with the guest

Please note:

• We charge for all programs a Registration fee of 200 USD (on time)
• The registration fee has to be paid in advance before arrival
• The volunteer fee can be paid onsite in USD or Schilling
• We charge an extra fee of 5% if you pay by card
• The communication with your project is trough us before arrival

Accommodation

You can find comprehensive information about your accommodation at We Are One Hostel in the Hostel section.

Your arrival:

We will pick you up from the Airport with a sign where your name and We Are Oneis written on it. Our driver will collect you and bring you straight to the hostel. Our employees from the hostel will welcome you and show you your room.

If you arrive in the morning, our coordinators will be there to welcome you and help you get prepared for the days ahead.

If you arrive at night, you will be warmly welcomed the following morning.

• Located in Mianzini, office in the hostel
• Working hours: 4-8
• Minimum duration: 1 week
• Maximum duration: 2 month
• Volunteers age 18+
• Project fees: you will pay the entrance for the parks

2. Price by week double room: 91 USD
