The assignments are particularly suitable for students and trainees from the fields of tourism management, event management, hospitality and culinary arts. Career changers with an interest in sustainable travel and hospitality are also very welcome.
Your possible areas of application:
- Hotel & event management: work in small to medium-sized hotels, organization of events, guest services, reception & housekeeping
- Tour guide & tour operator: Insight into the planning and execution of safaris and excursions, customer care, tour guiding, logistics
- Cooking on safari: supporting chefs in the preparation of typical local dishes during safari tours – often combined with assignments in local food or environmental projects
You will work in intercultural teams and be guided by experienced professionals. At the same time, you will get to know Tanzania’s tourism infrastructure and acquire or deepen your practical skills – ideal as an internship semester or as an entry into the world of work.
